Belt knives were a very popular and sometimes necessary item in the West.
If you would like to have an authentic scabbard for your knife, I would be happy to make one for you. As each knife is a little bit different, scabbards are made on a special order basis.

Mexican Loop Knife Scabbard
This is a Mexican Loop style scabbard, popular from the late 1870’s
on. This one is Dark Brown and was patterned after one carried
by Belle Starr’s boyfriend! Price as shown: $45.00

Spot Knife Scabbard
This style scabbard was very popular with Native Americans and
was used throughout the Frontier era. Made in Medium Brown with
solid brass spots.

Wide Knife Scabbard
Throughout the last half of the 19th century wide knife scabbards
were fairly popular. Here is one with a belt loop big enough for
a 3” belt.
